Real Orange Juice Benefits and Stroke Prevention ALA Jay Kordish
How To Properly Juice An Orange
You've seen the traditional orange juicers where the orange is squeezed against a raised tip with ridges. Sometimes these have a motor to ease the work of squeezing. These are terrible devices that waste most of the nutrition of the orange leaving less than 10% of it in an orange flavored sugar water.
Real orange juice uses the whole orange minus the peel. Oranges must be peeled to be properly consumed by the body, but you must peel it correctly by taking only the orange part. The peel contains an indigestible aromatic oil that you want to avoid taking in because your body cannot digest it. On the other hand, just below the skin is a white pith that is perhaps the most nutritious part of the orange. After peeling only the surface orange color off, the orange can then be run through a regular juicer.
The Secret To Getting Juice Power From Oranges
The white under the skin is called the pith, it contains a lot of bioflavonoids and it strengthens the capillaries throughout your body and especially in the brain and thus helps avoid stroke. Also important is the other nutrients in oranges help reduce blood pressure thus providing further protection against stoke and brain hemorrhage. Leaving the pith on while juicing is the big secret for getting maximum nutrition from oranges.
Oranges are high in vitamin C and this provides great antioxidant properties which help boost your immune system and protect against cancer. They also protect against asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, and osteoarthritis
Oranges have over 170 different phytonutrients along with more than 60 flavonoids, which have anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour and blood clot inhibiting properties, and work with the vitamin C to create a strong antioxidant effect.
Limonoids are also present in oranges and along with the vitamin C help fight cancer of the lung, colon, breast, mouth, and stomach. Oranges are powerhouses of nutrition if you juice them correctly.
Real Orange Juice
As you can see not all orange juice is worthy of being called orange juice. It must be made from the whole fruit to provide the protection and nutrition that it is capable of.
This orange juice recipe is very simple, 4 medium sized oranges peeling the orange skin off, remember to leave as much of the white membranes or pith as possible as it contains the stoke preventative nutrition. Then just drop them in your juicer and let it rip.

Don't get confused by others with so many new to juicing out there, in their egarness to share you must be careful to avoid misinformation
Many people start a juice fast to lose weight and discover that the healty nutrients they add to thier diets have other positive effects that they hadn't considered before. You'll find different benefits from different componets that you add into your juice. I like a base of apple, carrott, and celery juice and maybe add some spinich and other vegitables and fruits. These add in a lot of nutrients and you will find such beneftis from them as your skin getting smoother and younger, artheritis cleraing up, your eyes getting sharper and many other positive benefits.
Add some spinach in and get more manganese in your diet, this will protect your cells from damage. This and the extra trace minerals will help to supercharge your health. The spinach will tip the balance and turn this into a real green juice, meanwhile the apples will give it a good flavor that you can enjoy.

Chiropractors Cure Chronic Headaches
Chronic headaches need not plague you anymore.Alternative medicine has become increasingly popular as the public’s awareness of it has increased. Education has helped a lot, and chiropractors have certainly had their say in all this. The fact is that chiropractors can do more to relieve chronic headaches than almost any medicine. As chiropractors, we believe that drugs can sometimes actually make the problem worse; and at best, they can have a negative effect on your overall health. Certainly, addiction is a growing concern in our society and it’s a huge problem. Among many of the wonderful benefits of chiropractic care, people can’t “abuse” it by becoming addicted to it, although you might get addicted in a good kind of way once you realize how good it makes you feel!

New Patients At Graham Chiropractic Center
http://www.grahamchiropracticlouisville.com/correction-process/
Here is what a new patient can expect when they consult with Graham Chiropractic. The first step is the history process. In the history Dr. Graham will ask a battery of questions. First and foremost is the pain pattern. The pain pattern most of the time, according to Dr. Graham, will give him a very good idea of which nerve root is affected. For example a patient with sciatic pain may describe her pattern of pain as starting in the lower right side of her back and radiating into the right thigh, calf, ankle and side of the outer foot. This is a classic pain pattern of the L5-S1 nerve root. So this pattern given by the patient and verified by Dr. Graham, is the key to the consultation.
Next Dr. Graham takes a traumatic history to have some idea of how many jolts his patients has had that could have led to their condition. He is concerned with such traumas as car wrecks; old slips and falls; sport injuries, etc. He is equally concerned with postural habits such as how many hours a day does the patient sit, etc.
After this part of the history is taken Dr. Graham then asks specific questions regarding the pain. For example in the case of sciatica he will want to know how many minutes of sitting before it starts getting worse. Does sneezing or coughing make it worse, etc. This line of questioning will help him formulate whether this may be a disc bulge, disc herniation or a pinched nerve from something else.
The second part of the patient process is the examination. The examination is performed in an attempt to see what test or tests reproduce the pain. Dr. Graham does this with range of motion testing, an orthopedic evaluation and neurological testing. Finally, Dr. Graham does a postural assessment to determine to what degree faulty posture may be contributing to the problem. So Dr. Graham will be concerned about an un-level hips, shoulders, or even pronated feet.
When the physical examination is completed Dr. Graham takes x-rays of the spine. These are usually postural type x-rays which will include the spinal column in its entirety. Dr. Graham states that this is important because sometimes a problem in the back can be influenced or even caused from a problem in an other area of the spine such as the neck.
The next step is a review of the findings with his patient. This will include viewing the x-rays and the physical examination findings. This is the time that Dr. Graham can let the patient know what their diagnosis is. For example, it might be sciatica pain caused from a bulging or herniated disc, or from stenosis. Dr. Graham will also discuss what he believes will be needed to correct the problem and an approximate time frame. He will also let his patient know at this time whether further testing may be needed such as an MRI or if a joint consultation should be set up with another professional such as an orthopedist or neurosurgeon.
Dr. Graham will then use the most advance corrective measures to eliminate the patients problem. Currently, Dr. Graham is correcting most lower back and neck conditions with a computerized adjusting instrument (iQ). This instrument is precise, painless, and safe. Dr. Graham reports that he has had stellar success with bulging disc cases, herniated discs, sciatica, and neck and arm pain.
